LIFE IS A TRAIL FOR GOLDMAN MOM NEW YORK MAGAZINE - 6/2/97
Turns out that one member of Ron Goldman's family had some experience with the criminal-justice system before the O.J case: Patty Goldman, Fred Goldman's current wife and Ron's stepmother, was previously married to the notorious Marvin Glass, who died last week.
Once a high-flying Chicgo lawyer, Glass was accused in the mid-eighties of being in cahoots with his drug-dealer clients, acting as a middleman for a $I00-million marijuana-and-cocaine-smuggling ring and then racking up huge legal fees when his cronies got busted. Charged with racketeering in Chicago, he was prosecuted by novelist-cum-lawyer Scott Turow, who denounced Glass in 1986 as a "one-man crime wave" and called a witness who testified that Glass paid him $2,500 to shoot an ex-partner. Hit by a truck on a Flordia highway the year before, Glass was confined to a wheel-chair throughtout the proceedings, which Patti attended loyally every day, a spooky precursor of her role in the O.J. trials a decade later. Glass, who evidently contracted HIV while recovering from his Florida accident, died of pneumonia in Chicago on May 16. He had three children with Patti, who divorced him after the trial and married Fred.

Here we have a drug connection which can be documented.
It applies to Patti Goldman. It's not that she was "involved", but that she was married to an attorney who laundered drug money. This places a white collar connection to drugs within a phone call of Ronald Lyle Goldman.
It has been claimed -- and demonstrated -- that most Americans are only six degrees removed from each other.
How many murder victims are within one degree of drug lords?
How many murder victim's have ... friend's who were also murdered?
- Michael Nigg -- Ron's Mezzaluna colege, shot & killed September 1995.
- Brett Cantor -- Ron's friend & record company owner who died of stab wounds, throat slashed, at his Brentwood home on the night of July 30, 1993. He was associated with the DRAGONFLY nightclub.
- {possible Florida murder}
- Nicole Brown Simpson, who -- with Faye Resnick -- had planned to open a STARBUCK'S COFFEE HOUSE.
A cash business, such as a resturant, is a means by which money is "laundered". Laundering of money is accomplished by providing a "legal" source to which dirty money can be linked; the linkage serving to initiate a paper trail by which the il-gotten gains can be explained to the IRS.

Jan | 1 | Nicole and Simpson have a fight which results in a criminal action to which Simpson entered a plea of no contest, or nolo contendere which is not an admission of guilt. The Court suspended judgement, and when it reconveined on the matter entered a plea of NOT Guilty on Simpson's behalf, followed by a dismissal of all charges.
On June 13th 1994, Simpson will be asked by Vannatter & Lange: Did you ever hit her, O.J.?
To which he will reply: Uh, we had---that one night we had a fight. ... That night---that night we had a fight. Hey, she hit me.
... they never took my statement, they never wanted to hear my side. ...Nicole was drunk, she did her thing, she started tearing up my house, you know. And I---I didn't punch her or anything, but I---I---you know---"
Vannatterinterjects: "Slapped her a couple of times?" To which Simpson replies: "No. I wrestled her is all I did---"
During the criminal trial, Christopher Darden will introduce a fact: Nicole strick Simpson's maid.
In depositions, others will attest to Nicole's propensity for resorting to physical expressions of frustration and anger. |
A difference of opinion on fact
John Q. Kelly, Attorney for Estate, Burden of Proof, February 10th 1997 In fact, my opening statement -- I considered the fact that we had no evidence, and the jury would hear no testimony that he had ever struck her after '89, and as you recall, he signed the agreement with Nicole right after that incident that, if he ever did strike her again, their prenuptial agreement would be null and void, and it would cost him $5 to $6 million. |
Marcia Clark, Lead Prosecutor, Larry King Live, May 13th 1997 Well, I don't have the luxury of picking what the motive. The motive is what it is. ... I have the evidence that proves what it proves. The evidence showed that the motive was domestic violence. I mean, that was the nature of the case. |

{From Raging Heart} One of OJ's strongest supporters has been Susie Kehoe, widow of one of OJ's old friends who self-destructed --- first ending up in rehab, than in prison for money scams. He died in prison in 1993.
Simpson helped with rehab, Nicole talked Susie into leaving her husband; OJ also helped the Kehoe kids when their father was imprisoned (1989); 4 years later (1993) Simpson paid for the funeral.
Susie has since moved to the desert and remarried.

July | 30 | Brett Cantor -- friend of Nicole Brown, Ronald Goldman & Faye Resnick -- is knifed to death at his home. Description of wounds, method of attack and probable weapon are similar to -- if not a perfect match to -- the description of the murder eleven months later of Ron & Nicole. During the Simpson Trial, Judge Ito would grand the defense access to the "Murder Book" (official police record of evidence) but block introduction of data contained therein. |
Dec | 30 | Having been promoted to a management position in Central Operations, Marcia Clark asked two things, for her old job back, and for her husband to leave. |

May | 9 | While on location in L.A., Simpson puchases a stiletto from Jose Camacho -- an employee at . During the preliminary hearing, a special court master produces the knife; it was retrieved from Simpson's bathroom medicine chest after the second LAPD search of Rockingham. Camacho would testify before the Grand Jury, then violate specific court instructions not to spesak about his testimony; he would collect $10,000 from the National Enquirer.

June | 6 | OJS Letter to Nicole cc'd LeRoy Taft: Places Nicole on notice; she did not have permission or authority to use his permanent home address at 360 North Rockingham as her residence or mailing address for any purpose, including tax returns. Simpson documented his position relative to Nicole with the words, I cannot take part in any course of action by you that might intentionally or unintentionally be misleading to the Internal Revenue or California Franchise Tax Board." |
On page93 of her book, Marcia Clark spins OJ's legal notice to Nicole into proof that their relationship was less than amicable. As an Attorney, she should be fully aware that the letter was prima facie evidence of several things: - Nicole was engaged in a subtitle form of tax fraud -- claiming her residence property at Bundy as a rental property. She was deducting expenses associated with the property as business expenses and claiming depreciation. The formal title is Income Tax Evasion.
- By claiming Simpson's residence as her own, Nicole was implicating OJS as an accomplice in the fraud.
- The letter established that Simpson was dissociating himself from criminal behavior.
- The letter also established the amicable nature of their relationship. It was NOT addressed to the IRS or CFTB, but served as a defense in the event they moved against Nicole at some later date.
|
Within the context of criminal behavior, the letter to Nicole establishes the deep rooted desire of Simpson to avoid ANYTHING which could be construed as improper or illegal. In that context, murder is most certainly excluded. |
|
| 10 | Marcia Clark files for divorce. "I went out and bought myself a one of those do-it-yourself divorce kits. Money was tight; it seemed like a good idea at the time. But the lawyer who represents herself has a fool for a client." {"Without a Doubt" page 5} |
| 12 | 10:30 PM to 10:50 PM -- The Bundy Murders Ronald Lyle Goldman & Nicole Brown Simpson die of knife wounds. |
| 13 | 12:10 AM -- LAPD Patrolman Robert Riske reports the Murders. The detailed Timeline for the subsequent investigation. |
July | 2 | "Los Angeles Times", July 2, 1994, Simpson attorneys try to introduce evidence of knife found several blocks from Nicole's -- it had type "B" blood on it, consistant with blood type found under Nicole's finger nails. Referred to during Greg Matheson's testimony, but the judge Ito would not allow it to be introduced. |
