The Bruno Magli Shoe Photos
"Were the photos real?"
Details of Bruno Magli shoe photos as published in National Enquirer

An actual Bruno Magli size 12
An interesting aspect of the photos can be seen when we realize the initial public impression of a Bruno Magli Lorenzo was a three-quarter Hush puppy style shoe. Note, the vertical ankle lines, in the Harper shoeshine photo published by the National Enquirer. The shoe seems to extend well past Simpson's ankle -- as they would in a Hush Puppy style. However, note the evidence demonstration of a real Bruno Magli size 12 shoe -- it appears only four fingers high. That's hardly high enough for the rear of the shoe to extend past the ankle bone when the toes are lifted in the manner depicted. Could this explain why Petrocelli didn't produce these photos in court? Is it possible, did The National Enquirer airbrush the Harper picture?

There is the obvious question. Could there have been an element of racism involved in Petrocelli excluding the Harper photos from the trial? Scull and Flammer made money because their photos were featured in the trial. Yet the Harper photo is clearly the best for demonstrating the sole of the shoes Simpson was wearing. In addition, the very fact that Harper was a fan, and as such was acquiring a souvenir photo when his was taken imparts a validity to it which does not attach to the product of a professional photographic partnership.
