As a result of pre-release wholesale purchases, Clark's book spent a week at #1 and within the first seven weeks disappeared from readership radar. Those who had preordered were justifibly discounting the book prior to release. Clark is currently being sued for stealing the pictures she used in her book -- specifically converting public property for personal gain. All the crime scene photos were ordered sealed by Judge Ito -- that seal has never been lifted. (Vannatter, Lange & Fuhrman might also be subject to similar charges) |

| Fred Goldman | Aside from an $8.5 Million verdict -- which he might never see -- he is now a client of a large Los Angeles public-relations firm and a paid ($100,000 a year) spokesman for the Safe Streets Coalition, a victims' rights group--turning a private ordeal into public policy. Goldman now promotes the abolition of unanimous-jury verdicts, the adoption of "judicial report cards," and an end to the lifetime appointment of federal judges. "Being active is a way to focus some of that frustration, anger, etc., into something positive," says Goldman. We can be sure his bank account has gone positive, His name was Ron garnered a $450,000 advance. Goldman has now been given a four day test slot on Radio. Those who have followed the case have labled him FRAUD Goldman and recognize him to be a Media Whore -- labels which will become more widely used as he is hear by more causal followers of the trial. |

| 15 july 1997, Lisa Marie Presley is represented by Daniel Petrocelli in lawsuit against National Enquirer whose editor states, "During the O.J. Simpson civil trial, Mr. Petrocelli used our investigative reporting to help him win victory,'' Coz said. ``Now, in the Lisa Marie Presley suit, he wants to claim it doesn't exist."
