Message: OJ IS NOT A HERO, IT’S A RIDICULOUS STATEMENT.
Author: [Themis], Aug 22 1997 6:06PMThe LAPD & LADA were either stupid as hell or out to make their big bucks from the get go.
Where the NoJer's get off calling OJ a Hero to all ProJ's is an absurdity. I personally don't know the man, was not involved in sports, and didn't think he was particularly intelligent. What struck me from day one long before Cochran and company were on board was the absolute stupidity of the police. I don't know about California but the TV news shows were doing a big thing here on the east coast showing the police trampling all over the crime scene.
The shock of learning how long it took for the coroner to pick up the bodies also didn't bode well. From there on it simply got worse. Signals went up in a lot of people's minds.
If in fact OJ did commit the murders he did it so stupidly it defies description. I mean, give me a break!!!
He goes home after getting a burger and goes into his house. Hey he had to go in to change so Kato's changed story about seeing him go in and then saying he didn't go in stinks to high heaven.
He changes his common type sneakers and socks to rare suede Bruno Magli's and dress socks, dons a knit cap and winter gloves. He plans on stabbing someone to death with a small knife that can't be wielded while wearing gloves. Never mind the fact that it's a little too warm for this weird get up and on a man his size would only make him stand out a little more.
While or after committing two murders he allegedly manages to lose the knit cap and a glove. Takes time to possibly tear open an envelope with glasses in it. Walks around leisurely dropping blood approximately 2 feet from the ground. Then he decides he better get going cause he has a plane to catch, get rid of the alleged clothes, socks, shoes and remaining glove. Why be smart enough to keep them all together to dispose of them along with the knife?
Off he goes in his noticeable white Bronco stops along the way or at least does something to get rid of some of the articles of clothing, shoes and the killing weapon. Parks the Bronco on Rockingham, risks being seen going into the neighbor's yard to climb a wall in order to smash into the guest room’s wall three times but fails to leave foot prints or a blood trail. Ah!!! Maybe he flew up on the roof of the guest house.
Then he makes a mad dash back out to the Bronco so he can leave a blood trail in a different direction. With the speed of superman he races up to his bathroom to take off those expensive dress socks and fling them on the floor for everyone to notice. Takes a shower, changes clothes and races downstairs with his bags.
Kato tells him there might be a prowler in back of the guest house, OJ's helping him look for a flashlight so Kato can go out and check it. Now, this has to be the stupidest move of all if he knew he left a glove back there. He could've gone and gotten rid of it. When you're about to be accused of murder, so what if one misses a plane. Wasn't he concerned about that glove he threw there? Frankly, if he isn't guilty he probably just thought Kato was such a flake he could care less!
Speaking of Kato, the Moocher that is, if he was so concerned about the noises, why didn't he ever bother ringing OJ's door bell and tell him what was going on. He never even tried because I'm sure we would have heard about it. Kato was in a position to see if there were lights on in OJ's bedroom and he knew OJ had to be up to catch his red eye flight.
Nothing makes any sense! Right from the beginning it didn't make sense. It makes less and less sense as time goes on. The one thing that is very clear, most of the main actors except for OJ are becoming or became millionaires.
OJ was already divorced from Nicole he didn't have to come up with additional monies for her. His child support would be child support no matter what. He wasn't the normal stalker type because he was too involved with other women. The list goes on and on and on.
The evidence against him is definitely damaging. Too damaging! So damaging it smells to high heaven. When you have police walking around with the blood of the victims and the alleged murderer, missing initials on the bindles that were supposed to be there, etc. etc. etc. The issue isn't how many things were done wrong, it's what was done right? Is there one thing in the LAPD or LADA's offices that was actually done according to rules or evidence? If so, I haven't been able to find it so far.
No, OJ isn't a hero, nor do I defend him as a person. I have always defended his right and anyone else's right to a complete, HONEST, ETHICAL and thorough investigation before they are accused of a crime.
